Acoustic neuroma and driving :Cross Stitch – Motoring

Acoustic neuroma is a condition that you may need to tell the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) about. Find out which questionnaire you need to complete for the driving licence you hold.

If you hold a car or motorcycle driving licence and suffer from acoustic neuroma, telling DVLA will depend on whether you have disabling giddiness.

Disabling giddiness

If you do not suffer from disabling giddiness – you do not need to tell DVLA.

If you suffer from disabling giddiness – you need to tell DVLA.
