Check, change or cancel your DSA practical driving test online :Cross Stitch – Do it online

You can use this service to check your practical test appointment details online, or change or cancel your booking. This is the only official Driving Standards Agency (DSA) service to manage your practical test.

You can only change your test three times – after that, you need to cancel your test and book a new one

You can change your test time or date, as long as your driving instructor is available on the new time and date.

If you change the test booking within three clear working days of your original test date you’ll:

  • lose your original test fee
  • have to pay the full fee again

Sunday is not counted as a working day.

What you need to change your booking

To change your test booking online, you need two of these three details:

  • your valid Great Britain or Northern Ireland provisional driving licence number
  • your application reference number
  • your theory test pass certificate number

You’ll also need your driving instructor’s personal reference number so you can check they’re available – but you can change your booking without doing this.
